Artist Statement｜創作敘述
The interplay of blues and blacks feels like shadows and light brushing past the walls of a city. Warm off-whites and misty grays leave space to breathe, allowing the composition to find balance between density and stillness. In the distance, a golden glow appears—like the soft shimmer of windows at night, or the quiet pulse of energy beating deep within the city’s heart.
This is not a realistic streetscape, but a city sensed through memory and emotion: fragmented, reassembled, and still moving forward.
藍與黑的交錯，如同建築的陰影與光線在牆面上擦身而過；米白與霧灰則留下一段呼吸般的留白，讓畫面在密集與安靜之間找到平衡。遠方金色光芒——像夜裡遠方窗格的微光，或城市心臟深處仍在跳動的能量。這不是寫實的街景，而是一種更接近記憶與情緒的城市感：破碎、重組、仍然前進。
Technique｜技法說明
This work is created in acrylic on canvas, executed almost entirely with palette knife strokes that build the layered rhythm of the city. Gold leaf is applied in selected areas, symbolizing the reflections of light within the urban landscape. The airplane, painted with a fine brush, glides above — a contrast between delicate precision and the textured flow below.
此作以壓克力於畫布創作，全幅皆以刮刀取代畫筆完成，層層堆疊的刀痕形塑出城市格局與韻律。唯獨飛機以細筆描繪，成為劃過城市流動之上的方向象徵。
